Lobkowicz Palace (Lobkowický Palác), built in the mid-16th century for Czech nobleman Jaroslav of Pernštejn, is the only privately owned building in the sprawling Prague Castle complex. The aristocratic Lobkowicz family took over the palace through a dynastic marriage in 1603, eventually lost it under the communist rule of the Czech Republic following World War II, and regained control only recently, in 2002.

We enjoyed visiting the...
We enjoyed visiting the castle. The location was easy to find, but we got confused on how you can pass through the castle area without an entry ticket to the whole area and ended up walking way father than needed.

Care and fun!
The choice of music was spot on and the musicians were excellent. They put so much energy and emotion into the pieces they played. We could feel their energy and comradery. The restaurant was excellent. There was a variety of options, each excellent. The busy waiter was very accommodating to our large group. And the view is beautiful. We certainly got our money's worth.

A GREAT SHORT CONCERT
This was a great short concert in a wonderful historic room. Very very hard to find, and didn't know it was in the castle and you had to walk and walk and ask for directions multiple times. Nearly gave up but found the Palace. Commented that it was very hard to find and the reception staff commented that everyone says the same thing. The concert was lovely though.

Amazing
The concert was amazing. I have never heard people play the flute/piano/violin that close. Simply great
